The artist is interested in “mimicry,” a behavior observed both among human beings and in nature. Inspired by this idea, the works explore Carl Jung’s concept of “Persona.” By incorporating elements from nature, such as flowers and insects, and combining them with machinery, the works are given life. After ruminating on ways of presenting abstract concepts as three-dimensional representations, each metal object is transformed into a miniature sculpture and becomes a manifestation of the artist’s persona.
